One of the areas of ECOM activities is providing technical support to partners, contributing to building the organizational capacity and sustainability of organizations and services offered by them.

Technical assistance will be offered until the end of 2020 in the following three areas and with certain criteria:

1. Strengthening the organizational capacity of LGBT organizations and initiative groups working in the field of health
What we support: assessment of organizational capacity, development of policies and procedures required for the organization, strategic and operational planning, etc.
What we do NOT support: equipment
Who can apply: LGBT organizations and initiative groups from the following countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan
 
2. Support for activities in the field of human rights protection
What we support: trainings on human rights issues, assistance with developing reports for UN committees, assistance with drafting legislation, legislative reviews, etc.
What we do NOT support: routine monitoring of human rights violations
Who can apply: LGBT organizations and initiative groups from the following countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan
 
3. Conducting online events for the community, for compliance with safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic
What we support: fees for a basic Zoom account for 1 year
What we do NOT support: fees for any additional functions
Who can apply: ECOM members – organizations and initiative groups whose annual budget for 2019 did not exceed $60,000. The first 15 applications will be supported.
