Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia — three different countries with different histories. Yet in each of them, there are people whose love exists regardless of the laws that refuse to recognize it.
On this page, you’ll find six stories of LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones from three countries. Stories of what it’s like to love when society has no place for your love, and the law offers you no protection. And also stories of how love — from partners, parents, and friends — gives people the strength to endure.

Everybody finds somebody someplace
There’s no telling where love may appear

The campaign is implemented by UNAIDS and ECOM, together with partners from the Ukrainian Women’s Association Sphere, the Moldovan Information Center GENDERDOC-M, and the Armenian National Trans Coalition NGO. Explore these stories — you may recognize your own love in them.
