The Developed Country NGO Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria approved Vitaly Djuma in the role of Alternate Board Member. Vitaly has been a member of the Delegation since 2019.
“I am grateful to my colleagues for their trust. This is a big responsibility at any time, but especially now when we are preparing a new Global Fund strategy ащк the next five years. - said Vitaly and added: - Expressing the consensus of the whole Delegation and our constituencies, we will strive to strengthen the global response to the three diseases and to ensure that communities, including my own LGBT community, remain at the center of the Global Fund's and our joint actions."
Along with the Board Member and the Constituency Focal Point, the Alternate Board Member act as one of the delegation’s three leaders to help the delegation’s efforts to advocate for and represent the interests and perspectives of NGOs and civil society more broadly on the Global Fund Board.
