Survey: How the epidemic of COVID-19 affects the work of community organizations providing HIV services for MSM & Trans* People

Dear friends and colleagues,

The quarantine and other restrictions related to the epidemic of COVID-19 harmfully affected the work of many organizations and initiative groups providing MSM and trans* people with HIV services, significantly limiting members of our communities in the access to support they can get.

We propose to analyze this situation. ECOM initiated a rapid assessment of the situation to define measures that can be undertaken to ensure the sustainability of HIV services and safety for the clients what they apply for these services. We invite you to take part in the assessment. This questionnaire contains 16 questions that will take 15-30 minutes of your time.

ECOM will share results of the assessment with the LGBT community organizations and those NGOs providing MSM and trans* people with HIV services. We believe this will help us to plan our future work more effectively. Along with it, the data we are going to collect and recommendations based on these data will be presented to the Global Fund, UNAIDS, other donors and technical partners. We want to draw their attention to the importance of the protection of the HIV service programs from interruptions related to situations similar to the COVID-19 epidemic.
