Eurasian Coalition on Male Health (ECOM) invites a consultant to provide technical support in work with information, the main task is to organize and structure the online library on the ECOM web portal.
Within regional program "Right to Health" and other projects, in 2017-2019 ECOM plans to set up an online library on the web portal covering the following subjects: institutional development, community development, access to prevention and support services for gays, other MSM and trans* people concerning HIV and other sexual health issues.
Consultant job description:
The following tasks should be carried out between 17 November and 20 December 2017:
— to analyze and to group existing literature (no more than 1,000 files) according to subjects and languages (Russian, English, national languages of Eastern Europe and Central Asia region), 50% of the work must be completed before 30.11.2017.
— to improve on-line library structure
— to place information on the ECOM web portal according to the structure developed
A more detailed technical task will be specified in detail with the selected candidate.
Requirements for the consultant:
— basic knowledge of the following subjects: HIV, LGBT, human rights, NGOs, the Global Fund, Sustainable Development Goals
— experience in structuring, searching and analyzing information
— experience in working with web platform (Wordpress)
— good knowledge of English and Russian
— basic graphic editing skills
Remuneration and compensation:
The amount of reward is a subject of negotiations between the applicant and ECOM before the contract is signed.
A service contract will be signed between the consultant and the EKOM, according to contract ECOM will not be liable for the payment of any taxes by the consultant. The consultant does independently all the necessary taxes and other payments by the law of the country of residence of the consultant.
