ECOM has gathered a team for psychological and information assistance for LGBT people from Ukraine.
The military action is a concentration of stress and panic. Therefore, we want to support LGBT people and their loved ones.
We have created a chatbot in which everyone in need can receive psychological or information assistance from our consultant. The bot works in telegram: @ecomwork_bot.
Elena German, ECOM Capacity Development Coordinator, is sure that the psychological state during the war is one of the most important factors that saves people’s lives:
"Calming down, pulling yourself together, or vice versa, crying, being weak, motivating yourself, this is exactly what our psychologists can help with. Giving you information about what HIV or LGBT organizations are there in the city where you find yourself, is what our social workers will help with.
A chatbot is a direct access point in which you choose the type of service (consultation or information assistance), and in a few minutes you will be contacted by a psychologist or social worker. We will be very happy if our work will help you at least a little or make life easier in this difficult time.
